This week I am writing about salmon recovery again, and it occurs to me that were that effort not so obscenely expensive, it could best be looked at as a self-perpetuating exercise in bureaucratic carnival sideshow comedy. Comedy, yes, but not all that humorous.

Electricity Prices in West Sleep by Day, Rise With the Moon
It's no secret that rising crude-oil prices and a lower U.S. dollar have lifted natural gas and electricity values onto higher ground this year. For the past few weeks, it appears the inverse has been happening.
Falling Oil, Rising Dollar, Passing Storms = Cheap Gas
Gas prices this week had a perfect non-storm.
The Henry Hub benchmark dropped to its lowest level since February -- $8.11.
